“Nurturing growth through biblical principles”

ESCCC Sunday School?
ESCCC’s Sunday School is a place where children from our local community can learn more about Jesus, grow to be more like Him, and develop biblical based character values such as love, kindness and compassion to each other.
1. Who comes to our Sunday School?
Our Sunday School welcomes children from the ages of kindergarten to year 6. Sunday School isn’t about “yet another school or tuition class on Sundays” with children sitting through boring lessons, it’s also about putting fun into learning about Jesus, how He relates to the children’s lives, and how He can work through them and change them.
 We include a whole range of activities such as:
• Singing;
• Bible lessons;
• Prayer time;
• A range of fun activities such as games, craft, plays, skits and video games.
2. Who are the teachers?
We are a group of dedicated and enthusiastic Sunday School teachers under the guidance of our pastor, Boo Teong Khoo, the church’s board of elders, Helen Koo and May Fong Khoo, who are the Sunday School coordinators. At least 2 teachers or supervisors will be present every Sunday.
3. What are our goals?
Our Sunday School’s core goals are to:
1) Teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children;
2) Nurture the hearts and minds of children through bible lessons, and encourage Godly character development in children;
3) Equip children to learn and live by the application of the Word in their own lives.
4. When / where do we meet?
Every Sunday at 10.00 in the rear (1st floor) of the church located at 1 Australia Avenue, Matraville.
